Thursday was the official grand opening of Lululemon’s new flagship store in Vancouver, on Burrard Street at Robson Street!
The store was open on Tuesday for the media and Wednesday as a soft opening.
I received an email saying that the first 100 people in line would get a special limited edition item!
I heard that the earliest people got there at 7 AM. I didn’t get there until around 9:15 and I was number 72. By the time the store had opened at 10, all of the numbers were gone.
Here’s a view of the line up.
The first 100 people went straight for the limited edition shirts that we would get! There were womens racerback tank tops and mens 5 year t-shirts with a bicycle theme.
This is one of the three that I bought. I liked it because of the red bottles of wine in the basket. Then, I also saw that it had a tiny sign showing my neighborhood, Kits, which is also where the first Lululemon store started.
Here are some views of the rest of the store.
This is the changing room area from two directions.
Here is the check out area. They also had mobile check out machines on this busy day, too!
This is really cool. These just look like photos of the bottoms. But if you watch them for a while, all of a sudden, the legs will move and you realize that they are videos of the pants!
This is the community board area. It also included some Seawheeze information as well.
Here are some photos of the exterior of the store. They were running a video of last year’s Seawheeze Half-Marathon!
This is the largest mens section I have ever seen in a Lululemon store.
Here is the mens shorts bar, where men can custom order their shorts.
I really love this new store and look forward to not only shopping here but also having the free Sunday yoga classes here!
