Today was the set up day for the 2014 Lululemon Seawheeze Half Marathon!

I volunteered with the package pick up set up group. Some of them came in for the race from as far as Saskatchewan and Honolulu!

We had a great group of volunteers working! Some were runners who will be running this Saturday!

We saw some workers outside getting the exterior area ready! What a view! And the mountains and oceans look nice, too! Yes, it was hot out!

Here’s our group! Had a great time with these guys! Good luck with the race! (check out the volunteer voluncheer shirts this year, mens are white, womens are light green)

We got to preview the store. It is 22,000 square feet this year! We were warned not to take any photos of any of the limited edition items and put them on social media before the grand unveiling tomorrow at 7 AM. Last year, people started to line up at 4 AM and I expect people will do the same this year.

I did see a few things that I will buy. I was happy to see that the clothing is fairly different from last year. I know that the others who got to see the store were also impressed and will go early to shop! As usual, I’m sure that these limited edition items will sell out quickly!

  1. Hi Debra, I’m just wondering if I paypal’d you funds if you’d consider purchasing a CRB or tracker shorts for me? I’ve always wanted seawheeze stuff, but never had the opportunity to get there 🙂 My email is u_dell@hotmail.com if you’d consider it at all. Thanks 🙂

    • hi there,

Sorry, I always volunteer at the Seawheeze on the day the store opens and by the time I would have gotten in, there wouldn’t be much. I can’t handle the long line up either. I’m afraid that the only way you could get some Seawheeze stuff is to pay inflated prices on ebay. Good luck!
